DEPOSIT & pAYMENT POLICY
Standard Reservations
Standard reservation policies apply to bookings that are 6 nights or less and can occupy up to 3 rooms.
- 1–2 nights require a 100% deposit at the time of booking.
- 3 or more nights require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
- Reservations made within 14 days of arrival require a 100% deposit.
- Reservations made through OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) or other third-party websites require a 100% deposit.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
- Any remaining balance is due upon arrival.
Group and Long-Stay Reservations
Group bookings of 4 or more rooms and long stays of 7 or more nights have separate payment and cancellation requirements:
- 50% payment is required to make the booking.
- 100% payment is required 21 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Standard Reservations
- For standard reservations, cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to arrival to qualify for a refund.
- A $50 cancellation/handling fee per room will be deducted from the refund.
- Late arrivals and early departures are non-refundable.
Group and Long-Stay Reservations
Group bookings of 4 or more rooms and/or long stays of 7 or more nights are subject to the following cancellation policy:
- 21 days or more prior to arrival: Cancellation is permitted and a refund will be issued, less a 10% cancellation fee.
- Within 21 days of arrival: No refund will be issued.
- Late arrivals and early departures are non-refundable.
Travel and unforEseen circumstances
Madison Inn is not responsible for changes to or cancellations of reservations resulting from:
- Inclement weather
- Canceled or delayed boats
- Canceled or delayed flights
- Unforeseen changes to travel plans
- Personal illness or injury
- Family emergencies
- Other circumstances beyond our control
We strongly encourage guests to consider purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected circumstances that may prevent or disrupt travel.
OTHER INFORMATION
General
- Check-in: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
- You must be 21 years of age or older to check in.
- A physical photo ID and credit card with the same name must be presented at check in.
- The Madison Inn is a non-smoking and non-vaping property.
- Pets cannot be accommodated.
Parking and Storage
- On-street public parking is available.
- Locked bicycle storage is available in our basement.
- Luggage storage is available before and after check-out.
Beach Amenities
- Beach towels, chairs, and toys are available to all guests staying at the Madison Inn.
Handicap Information
- The Madison Inn has no elevator and is not ADA accessible, getting in and out of the lobby as well as the rooms will require going up and down at least a few stairs.
