Policies

HEALTH & SAFETY

We are utilizing United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered disinfectants to properly clean rooms and common areas.

Our common areas and “high touch” surfaces will be disinfected thoroughly and frequently by all staff members.

DEPOSIT POLICY

50% deposit is required with a reservation of three or more nights.
100% deposit required for one or two nights.

100% deposit if the reservation is made within 14 days of arrival.

100% deposit if the reservation is made through any OTAs (Online Travel Agency) or third-party websites.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Balance is due upon arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY

To receive a refund, you must give 14 or more days’ notice for a standard reservation and 21 days’ notice for group reservations or stays of 7+ days. If you cancel within these windows, a fee applies: $25.00 for stays up to 4 nights (per room) and $50.00 for stays of 5 nights (per room) or more. Late or early departures are not refundable. 

Refunds and Notice Periods 

  • Group & Long Stay Cancellation Policy
  • Group bookings (four or more rooms) and/or Long stays (more than 7 nights) require at least 21 days’ notice before arrival to receive a refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 21 days before arrival are non-refundable.

Cancellation Fees

  • Stays up to 4 nights: A $25.00 handling fee per room will be charged upon cancellation.
  • Stays of 5 nights or more: A $50.00 handling fee per room will be charged upon cancellation.

Other Policies 

Late Cancellations: For cancellations within the 14/21-day window, a refund is only possible if the room can be rebooked; any refund would be based on the rebooked rate plus cancellation fee.

Late Arrival/Early Departure: No refunds are offered for these situations.

Madison Inn does not take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, canceled boats, canceled flights, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal illness (including COVID-19), injury, or family emergencies. 

We highly encourage guests to consider purchasing trip insurance in the event an emergency arises that impedes your travel plans.

Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m.
On street public parking is available.
The Madison Inn is a non-smoking and non-vaping property.
Sorry, pets cannot be accommodated.
Locked Bicycle storage is available in our basement.
Luggage storage is available before and after check-out.
Beach towels, chairs, and toys are available to all guests staying at the Madison Inn.
Sorry, we do not accept bachelorette parties.
Group reservations larger than 4 rooms must be booked through the owner. The cancellation policy will be changed to 21 days in advance (or longer), depending on the time of year.
